The Dacor Darwin dive computer tops our list as one of the favorite dive computers on the market. First of all, it automatically turns on when you enter the water. Second, it has as much memory and logging functionality as any computer on the market. As you would expect, the darwin has an audible as well as a visual alarms in case you get out of control. If you are an advanced diver, you can use a bottom timer for your technical diving. Last but not least, it has both a freshwater AND a seawater setting.
We encourage you to consider this dive computer if you are in the market for one. Find out more about the Dacor Darwin Nitrox.
The Aeris Atmos computer is a top of the line computer with just about all of the solid features that you would expect from a dive computer of this class. First of all, there is a back light feature that allows you to set the length of time it lights. If you are out of control underwater, there is a flashing LED that tells you to take a decompression stop. This computer also allows you to play back the last 12 dives.
Mares MC-1 Console Computer
We are also impressed by the Mares MC-1 for its user-friendliness as it is called the most compatible and easiest to use dive computer.
Although it has the logbook memory, and the long battery life, what has received really good reviews is its dive simulator. This simulator will allow you to plan very well for your dive and allow you to enjoy your experiences underwater.
Last but not least, there is also an altitude gauge which comes in handy during non-sea level diving. Get more information about the MC-1 Console Computer and other Mares computers.
The Genesis React is popular among divers because of its compact size and the fact that it can fit inside most consoles. It functions in depths of up to 330 feet and decompression stops of up to 60 feet. Last but not least, it has the PC downloadable option, which allows you to keep accurate logs easily.
