Scuba gear bags: deciding from different boat bags
|
Choosing among scuba gear bags can often be a different proposition. First and most importantly, you want to get a bag that is large enough to carry your gear for one day's worth of diving. At the same time, your boat bag should be small enough to fit inside your larger travel bag that you will be carrying across airports.
Usually, there are two popular styles of scuba gear bags, the vertical backpacks and the horizontal duffel boat bags. Ideally, you should be able to put your BC, wetsuit, regulator, fins, and masks. But that is not all. In addition to the heavier items, there should be enough room to hold your gloves, weight belt, snorkel, sunglasses, as well as general accessories such as hat, towel, and a t-shirt.
