A quick tip for using diving and Snorkeling Fins and avoiding blisters

Some Practical advice on avoiding blisters from snorkel fins:
Just about every physical activity puts pressure on your feet. Unless you are playing a sport like golf, which you can do with your sandals on, most people take precautions to avoid blisters from snorkeling fins. The obvious precautions are socks, but we can also buy additional cushioning from specialty stores to prevent blisters.
Both snorkeling and scuba diving underwater, believe it or not, can also cause blisters if you are not careful. One of the most common causes is a stray piece of sand between your foot and the snorkel fins. They can cause just about every kick underwater to be painful. When you are underwater, once you have a blister, there is very little that can be done at that time.

Here are two suggestions that should make your dives blister free snorkeling fins.

Using a pair of dive booties(sometimes called dive boots) will prevent blisters because
the sand will have a difficult time getting inside your boots.

If you haven't had a chance to buy booties, consider wearing a thin pair of nylon socks.
This should help insulate your feet from the rougher edges of the snorkel fins.
