Why use a pair of scuba diving masks instead of goggles when going diving or even snorkeling?

Many beginners, and sometimes even experienced divers ask why they have to use a pair of scuba diving masks and not the pair of goggles that they have been swimming with. After all, if you were to test a pair of goggles with the scuba diving masks for visibility in a swimming pool, both will surely pass the test.

However, the reason this test is invalid is because it doesn't take into account the awesome pressure of the ocean water, especially as you go deeper. After a few feet, the diver will feel a squeeze where the pressure increases and the compresses the already little air around the goggles. The compression pulls the goggles closer to your skin to the point where they feel like they are squeezing your eyes.

When you try the ocean test with a few scuba diving masks, you will notice that there is a nose pocket that allows you to add air into the mask, thereby equalizing the air pressure. This functionality is not available in any google.

Consequently, the scuba diving world takes the purchase and use of masks very seriously. To help you find a solid pair of scuba diving masks, please choose   from the following
